The excitement started as soon as the journey started and there was lots of noisy chatter most of the way. Everybody was pleased when we stopped for a break and the playground was popular.

Wells-Gallions Exchange Programme - a cultural experience

In 2005 children from Yr 6 at Wells Primary School at Wells-next-Sea in Norfolk undertook an exchange with Gallions Primary School in Warwall, East Beckton, London. Although the children only went for one day altogether they had an amazing time. They stayed overnight sleeping on the school hall floor and later in the year children from Gallions Primary School came to stay for the same amount of time at Wells Primary School. This time the children slept at Wells Scout Hut and at South Creake a little village not far from Wells where a sponsor for this cultural exchange lives. This has all come about through The Yorke Trust.

In 2006 this exchange took place for the second time and we are looking forward to it happening again in 2007.
